I am very dissapointed with philips on this one. I feel as if they are simply prolonging an allready poor product. The phones appearence is nothing short of 1st class , but what lies beneath isnt upto much im afraid. Another bad pointer is the size of the unit, when the original was released it was relatively average size but now with advances in technology phones have decreased in size and the philips C- xx range has been left behind. Things that the manufacture dont tell u include: The DB model ofers far better value The battery cover is very suseptable to damage The buttons feel like a childs toy The aerial is black, why not have it silver to match the body? Having said this the C-14 does have some good points and from months of experience I can tell you what I found pretty nifty : Some how it attracts the ladies- maybe its the curviness? The power consumption is excellent, some how alot better than the C12 and DB models It does withstand knocks quite well, except to its weak point- the unprotected screen. As a conclusion I would say this is not a bad phone, but you can get better for your money. Adam Stuart

I brought the Philips C14 after seeing it on the Phlilips website, I am a Philips fan and like most of their products as I think that they are good-quality. I brought the C14 as a replacement for a Nokia 3210, I just wanted a cheap pay-as-you-go phone as I was getting ripped on the contract I was on, and the phone cut out in almost every call as it had an internal antenna. I brought the phone because of the Philips brand name and because it looked good. Please be warned that the pictures on the website don't look anything like the real phone (if you get it on BT Cellnet) and the ones on BT cellnet do not have the blue backlight, which I was rather dissapointed about. The games are rubbish, call quality OK, and buttons hard to use as they don't seem to work properly. The phone is OK for an emergency user, but would not use it for any other reason.

What can I say about this phone? Well for starters I'll say it's the business! Does it look good or does it look good? I would say it is one of the best or maybe the best phone Philips have produced to date. Aswell as looking very sexy the new savvy has wicked features. It has 50 emotion icons, 3 games to play just like the nokia phones, Vibration alert and Voice dial. You get 2-4 hours talk time and around 150 hours stand by time. I've been using mine for over a week now and i am very pleased with all it has to offer. The voice dial is very good and so far I haven't had any problems using that. Its quite a light phone too which I think is very important for phones now. I predict this will be a big seller and will follow in the success of the C12.
