I got the Philips Xenium as a birthday present some 6-7 years ago and have been really surprised by its performance.
The most striking feature of this phone, its main selling point and a truly staggering fact is the capacity of its battery. In truth, it baffles me as to how other phone manufacturers are still getting away with not putting in better batteries into their handsets. Using this phone on a daily basis for phone calls & texts, I needed to charge it less often than once a month. This exceptional battery did not mean that the rest of the phone was basic in order to save power.
The phone has two screns and has a variety of useful features. It has a large number of interesting features, has games and looks good too. The quality of all these features is also astonishing for a mobile of that time as the internal screen was a very decent colour one and the phone was right at the top end in terms of its specifications.
The best thing about having a phone with this kind of a battery was the fact that you never had to think about the charger. If you were going away for work for a week or on a two-week holiday, there is absolutely no need to bother with wires, plugs, converters and the like. The phone will easily carry the charge throughout that time!
