Philips 355:
... in the days of 2004 most people still had their trustworthy Nokia 3310/3410 s - but everyone wanted to make way for coloured technology. So browsing in woolworths i saw this phone and thought - hmm, thats quite a nice phone. So I put it on my christmas list at £80. A few weeks later I opened a christmas present and found this phone to be inside. I was pleased. I opened and charged it like you do with new mobil... Philips 355 ... brain can t always control them!! How was I to know that my cup of tea would jump up and pour itself all over my lovely samsung phone that I adored???? (Oooops no insurance!). So, on the realisation that I had to get a replacement phone, out I went into the vast beyond to find one that was cheap enough to take my still working sim card from my tea-filled samsung. I eventually stumbled upon this Philips 355. I bought it for £45, and actually got a free cd player with it. I then promptly took it along to my local mobile phone wizard to be unblocked so it would take my vodafone sim card. The bloke in the shop smirked at me when he saw it (should have known then), and said ... Read the full review: Philips 355 camera phone aagghh by Janneyh37 |

Philips Xenium 9@9++ ... days instead of 3-4 weeks with the Xenium. If you get tired of having to recharge your phone all the time or if you travel around then this is the phone for you. All the functions work well (appart from the e-mail, but that s more to do with orange than the phone), it has a simple menu system, clear screen, is light and not too smal. It has a feel of robust quality about it. I don t know why Philips didn t release this phone here in the UK, or the better phone within it s range. But they should and they ought to be still making this phone as not everyone wants a colour screen or a low quality camera phone, most people just use there phone for calling and the odd text... Philips Fisio 825 ... was a present for my birthday, I would have chosen something else. To get the most out of the phone you need to have the screensaver/backlight/bluetooth functions turned off. Mine has been on standby for a week now without a recharge, but i've only made a couple of short phone calls this week. Accessories are way overpriced. For anyone that wants to use the bluetooth feature, I use a usb blutooth dongle which cost just over £20. You can then add your own pics to the phone, but more importantly I can synch my phone with outlook, in particular all my contacts (so no messing about entering them in usong the keypad on the phone) and the calendar (as my memory is ...
