RIM BlackBerry 8700g

This product was bought mainly because of its snazzy looks and not for its features or anything which is ironic considering once used i felt that it was the design of the product that was its only downfall! I have been using black berry 7230 for some time and finally got the new BlackBerry 8700. The following are my personal experience in using the BlackBerry. Pros: It has the best technology in the world which has made BlackBerry famous around the world. The push technology is definitely ultimate for people who are on the move and want to be in touch with other people by email without logging into any website or internet. The Blackberry provides a range of features including phone, email, phone & address book, calendar, calculator, notes, tasks, internet browser, games etc. As such, it could be compared to the many PDAs that are available (e.g. Palm Pilot, iPAQ etc) or the latest mobile phones. However, I have to say that the main purpose of this device is as a mobile email system. The extra features, whilst useful, do not really compete with software available for PDAs.
