Actually, the received voice is so distorded when using this phone on 900MHz networks, that one time it took me about a minute to recognize my own girlfriend over the phone =)) ] - pretty big and bulky My conlusion is that the Sagem DC820 works well in any place where there's enough signal strength: home, office, generally in town. It's great especially if you prefer to call rather than to send a SMS....more

I've had this little phone for around a year now, so, I thought I'd try to write as detailled guide to it as I could, catagorised into sections. In brief, this is a great phone- when you take into account its price, it was cheaper than the Nokia 5110 when I bought it yet has a vibrating alert, a handy speakerphone and is the same weight as the Nokia 3310! Read on; The Price. I got this phone in February last year on One2One Pay as You Go for £49.99, with £13 of credit. I'm pretty sure you can now buy these new (from some retailers) for £29.99. I have a Sagem DC820 which was purchased for £49.99 from Dixons about two months ago. It is on a pay as you go tariff with One2one. I would recommend this phone to anyone as super value. Having used the phone for a couple of months now I love it. As well as the normal address books and other menu driven features (which are easy to navigate) this phone is fitted with vibrating alert which is very useful if you’re in a meeting or library etc and don’t ...

Nowadays the Sagem DC820 is an antique, but even back in it's glory days it did not really shine, except maybe when it came to power consumption. But that advantage is one that makes no difference since the original battery was of only 600 mAh, or so it appears after i opened it and observed the colour of the cells (capacity was not marked on the label; light green cells = 600-650mAh). In short, this phone has: - a nice display in terms of readability. The rather large letters and the greenish shiny background allow you to easely read the text even in low light conditions(if for some reason the phone's light is off). - contrast setting for the ...
