Advantages: Small, Light, Inexpensive

Disadvantages: Not widely known, Vibrate alert isn't strong

I have owned this phone for a good 2 years now and have moved on to the Nokia 3650.

The Sagem MY3020 had given me a trouble free life, it is a reliable phone with a good sized screen. I have rather small hands and the phone was almost perfect fit for me, the keys were spaced out so you wont be putting in wrong numbers. Once you get used to keypad, you can put in text messages quickly with the T9 predictive text software that is on the phone and switching it to normal text input if the word is not recognised.

The features on the phone isn't something to call home to, included is a clock, alarm, calculator, currency convertor, speaker phone, ringtone creator, Vibrate alert, 3 different games and WAP access. WAP can be easily turn on by a single press of a button located in the middle just underneath the screen. Although it is convienient, it does however mean you may accidentally push the button when it's in your pocket, thus losing you valuable money surfing WAP when you're not really using it, this is easily remedied if you put the keylock on.

Because Sagem is kind of unknown, there aren't much things that are available to the phone to download you may find a few places that has ringtones for it.

Sound quality is good as you can get for older generation phones, it can provide fairly loud tones even when set on the lowest setting, this is the same for calls so if you are hard at hearing, it is a good addition, though private calls may not be private ;).

The vibrate alert when you have calls, text messages .etc is not very strong, I have had a few times where I couldn't feel it and missed a few important calls.

Battery life is quite good for an old generation phone, it can provide about 5 days standby and around 2 hours talk time.

If you are looking for an inexpensive phone, and not too fussy with features and having new things put into the phone, this phone is an excellent choice, you
will find that it will give you a headache-free time while you own it and also a happy wallet because it does not cost much. A nice budget phone, which looks attractive with few features which wont confuse you. An excellent purchase.

I've got a Sagem myx-3. It's a really good phone but not many people seem to choose Sagem!
