Advantages: Great camera, decent display for non-flip, Robust
Disadvantages: Slightly dodgy menus
If, like me, you can never find a digital camera to hand when you're kids are doing funny things then be frustrated no more. My kids are 4 and 2 and are going through a great period where you just want to snap every silly thing they get up to. The camera on this phone is only 640x480 but all my friends have been very impressed by the final version when viewed on a PC. The display, as good as it is, does not do the photos any justice they really should be viewed/stored on a PC. This is probably one of the best cameras on any phone, far superior to Nokia offerings.
Anyway, enough about the camera. What about the primary function: phone calls? I've found reception is very good and battery life is decent. Charge up time is relatively long (4 hours). If you only make half an hour calls a day on this then you'll get three/four days out of one charge. One thing they don't tell you is charge the damn battery overnight when using it for the first time. I know its obvious now, but I wish I remembered then!
The display is colourful and bright. Decent size for a non-flip phone. The construction of the phone is solid, I don't have a cover on it and have dropped it a few times without the standard Nokia-battery-flying-one-way-and-the-back-cover-th e-other.
The menu display system is OK, nothing to write home about. And its a completely different feel for Nokia users. However, there is no right and wrong - just differences.
Recommendation: buy.
