Advantages: Great Price, Good Large Clear Screen, Zoom Camera

Disadvantages: No Bluetooth, Small Keypad Buttons

I decided to get my girlfriend a Sagem myX-6 for her birthday last month. The most noticable difference between it and other mobiles on the market was the price. I managed to pick it up for new for £130. So, it is alot cheaper then most others (normally between £170 - £300) but does that mean its of lesser quality?

No. I found the myX-6 to be a great mobile. A huge advantage for it is the very large screen and picture it has. To be honest I have seen sharper picture quality from a mobile but I've also seen alot worse from a majority of the more expensive phones. I found the idea of a sliding cover for the camera a good idea to protect it when not in use and am surprised many other manufactures havent used this. It also has a very good zoom (x4) which is great for sneeking those pictures of your unsuspecting friends!

Camera aside is also has other nifty features. I still own a Nokia (not for much longer), the reason I had been excusing to leave for a different manufacture was the Menu Layout. Well Sagem, you have done well. The Menu is clear, bright and understandable. It is hard to lose yourself unlike some mobiles I have encountered. It gives you information, in percentages, how much memory you have and does tend to store quite a bit. We have about 50+ pictures stored on the phone currently.

General standard features are there such as MMS and Polyhonic Ringtones. A noticable difference is the lack of Bluetooth but you cant expect everything!

Style wise, it is really a matter of preference. It is more of a square shaped (More T610) than curved. The screen is about half the size of the front of the mobile. It is not particularly long but there are many smaller on the market.

Games, it has 3 as standard which the option of downloading more (this is with Orange World, obviously only for Orange networked phones). Sagem's 'snake' game is called Megabox Conquest and is highly addictive! The others are 5-minute b
oredom breakers.

So overall, a great little phone at a great little price. Highly Recommended.
