I am now on my second one of these phones, after driving over the first one! That is however, a sign of how durable they are as it was about the only thing I could do to stop it working.
Although it is a relatively simple phone compared to those on the market now, everything works on the phone and the keys and screen are both large - something dramatically missing from more modern phones.
The SMS writing tool is very simple to use, with easy scrolling through T9 Predictive Text available.
The in call menu is relatively advanced for a phone of its age, with volume and speakerphone options - as well as being able to scroll the main menu's whilst in call.
Obviously in the current world where phones now pretty much double up as computers the Sagem myX5-2 isn't going to compare on a technology front, and I must admit that not having bluetooth does make hands-free awkward.
That said, the WAP browser is efficient, if not spectacular.
Overall, a steady phone that is easy to use and very good at what it does.
