Advantages: colour screen, easy to use, wap and cheaP!!

Disadvantages: only 256 colours, crap games

Sagem's Myx2, the beginner before the upgrades. A cheap phone, with colour screen, wap interface, hifi ringtones, backgrounds, security pin locks and other features. Its a decent phone with a very nice price tag on aswell. for under 40 quid now. With the Myx2 you can send attachments via sms, recieve attachments, sound and animation. Get the latest news, or football scores or horoscopes etc via Orange Plus onformation services. Download games via wap, (as the games included in the phone are frustrating and pointless) Theres room for 250 numbers on the phone, you can designate people into desired groups and send group txt messages for ease and convienience. There is an automatic witheld number function built in so that when you call certain mobiles your call is anonymous. Built in calculator and currency converter. Alarm clock, timer, In car kit function for hands free. Speakerphone included, which is for in car hands free or when your in loud places. One thing which is annoying about this phone, is that there is no outbox, which really peeved me off, so now before i send a message i have to save it as a darft first to view it back later.

Phone includes, date and time function, a directory for where all your downloaded data is kept. (maximum size of 250kb) A language setter which can be adjusted for the phone to display, English, German, Spanish or French. A network option for when your abroad and need to view which network your will be currently subscribed to. A contrast feature which alows you to change the contrast of the screen, an energy saving feature, which turns the light off at the back of the phone. (WARNING) don't use this feature unless you really have to, because i found that wihout the light, i could hardly see a thing, and i was faffing around with the phone for about 40 minutes trying to get back on the menu to change it back. A short cut menu designed for your lazy thumbs, which allows you to call different people wit h a push of a button on the keypad. A reset settings function which restores the phones back to its original factory settings. (note that doing this does not delete any download data you may have on the phone, it just restores the background colour and screen colour etc. There are about 20 ringtones, with 1 speical ringtone, which for most myx2's is "can you feel it" which is a very catchy tune :D Theres a fantastic reception with this phone, because of its design, it recieves a good solid signal strength.

There is a view last call item which is self explanetory, a counter function which tells you how many minutes or hours ot days you have been using your phone for calling and incoming calls. The display numbers setting which allows you to block your called id going out to anyone you call.
An auto redial function which when activivated will keep redialling a busy number until somebody picks up. A blacklist which to be honest, i have no idea about, i click on it and it just comes up empty. But i dont think its that important. Theres various other functions with the phone, like test LCD display, and battery status(which tells you how much voltage is left in the batery, when it is below 3.7 then you should recharge.)

Theres one more thing i'd like to add about this phone, it's maintenance, i cant remember how many times ive dropped this phone on the floor, and its smashed open and the batterys gone flying out, but shockingly, it still works. Incredible. Must be because its japanase. They are the best for maintenance.

I love this little natty phone, and now you can get it for under £40 its brilliant value for money, it hasn't got anything fancy like camera or bluetooth or GPRS but it has sufficient menouverability within which to do a normal task.
Ideal for a first time mobile phone user, and ideal for a temporary phone while you look for an upgrade for your last phone. Goods all round from me
Thanks for reading
