Sagem My C4-2 ... got to the progress of the call would be when it would beep loudly at you and display the text redialling . If you had bothered to set up the re-dail function, otherwise it would just disconnect with no warning. And I might as well have put any message I wanted to send in the mail, it would have actually arrived on time, unlike my texts from an Alcatel which went when they felt like it. The Sagem MYC4-2 is a breath of fresh air when compared to this. It grabs signal from anywhere and holds onto it like a dobberman pincher holds onto a bone. Sagem MY X5-2 ... dramatically missing from more modern phones. The SMS writing tool is very simple to use, with easy scrolling through T9 Predictive Text available. The in call menu is relatively advanced for a phone of its age, with volume and speakerphone options - as well as being able to scroll the main menu s whilst in call. Obviously in the current world where phones now pretty much double up as computers the Sagem myX5-2 isn t going to compare on a technology front, and I must admit that not having bluetooth does make hands-free awkward. That said, the WAP browser is efficient, if not spectacular. Overall, a steady phone that is easy to use and very good at what it does.... Sagem DC 820 ... the Sagem DC820 is an antique, but even back in it s glory days it did not really shine, except maybe when it came to power consumption. But that advantage is one that makes no difference since the original battery was of only 600 mAh, or so it appears after i opened it and observed the colour of the cells (capacity was not marked on the label; light green cells = 600-650mAh). In short, this phone has: - a nice display in terms of readability.
