Advantages: It looks good
Disadvantages: Take your pick!
Maybe it is the fact it is aimed at the young teenage crowd. Or maybe it is the fact this phone is just plain rubbish! I will make this review as balanced as I can but there are some phones that should just plain never see the light of day until ready and this is a plain example.
I bought this phone a few weeks ago to show I'm a bit different to my friends who all have the I-Phone. It looks sexy, different and has a 'revolutionary' touchscreen. There's also a chance to DJ on it with it's own DJ package so you can remix songs downloaded on to it. "Great," I thought, "New, shiny and something quirky about it"...
Once the phone was out of the packagin and charging, the problems started. I got it working ok but the touchscreen wasn't as responsive as was advertised. Things had to be double pressed or pressed for a few seconds to work.
Uploading music to it was easy (thankfully) but when I played around with the DJ software in it, again it did nothing. No quick response, no nothing... The one quirk which stood out for this and it doesn't work properly.
Finding contacts on the phone is easy so calling isn't a problem but texting is. In fact, anything that needs the touchscreen to work just doesn't work as it is touted. This got me annoyed. After returning the phone TWICE, I just gave up and went for a Nokia. Far more reliable and revolutionary.
Samsung still haven't learnt their mistakes from previous versions of this phone so avoid it at all costs if you want your phone experience simplified, not made harder.
Summary: All style and no substance make this a hugely disappointing phone.
