Advantages: Sleek design, compact phone, nich touchscreen
Disadvantages: Hard to get keypad up during calls
I had the Samsung Blade for 2 years with my Vodafone contract - I had the pink version of the phone. The design of the phone is very appealing - compact and sleek. The phone was very user-friendly, especially if you have used Samsung phones previously (the menus are pretty consistent between phones). The Blade has a 3.2MP camera which is ample for taking quick shots while out and about. Internet access on the phone via 3G is reasonably fast (I was however dissapointed that the Blade does not have WiFi). The touchscreen is very responsive and the screen is of a reasonable size. Agreeing with other people who have reviewed the phone, I found it annoying when making calls that require you to select numbers during the call as the screen locks during calls and it is a pain to try and get the keypad back up. Then when the keypad is up on the screen, you can easily press buttons with your ear!! The battery life of the phone is reasonably good - lasting about 3 days with moderate use.
Summary: Good value phone
