Advantages: Specification, camera, screen, connectivity, media support
Disadvantages: size, slide mech.
First experience of a slide phone personally prefer flip, however the slide is smooth and appears durable, however did seem to get "looser" after a month or so. The main reason it is as useable as a flip-phone is that it can be used to make calls without opening the unit up - for quick calls or checking messages however you will have to slide the unit to reply.
The screen on the phone is excellent - clear and bright, and due to the slide nature of the phone the keypad is large and easy to type on. Numbers displayed on the screen are large and clear and text messaging is fast.
The camera is excellent 2megapixels with a limited digital zoom enables clear photos in good weather providing the user holds the phone very still. Flash is available also but appears of limited use and power. ISO settings and white balance can be manual set providing user control over photo's.
The phone plays movie and music files has around 70-80 megs useable inbuilt memory however there is the option of additional memory via T-flash cards which handily is accessed on the exterior of the phone - not having to remove battery etc. for access.
Connectivity is excellent with bluetooth support and the USB cable provided to a PC which can also be used to charge the phone.
Downsides - exterior keypad is a little "clicky" not up to samsung build quality I have come to expect. Phone feels plasticky and cheaper than models such as the Moto V3 and is also quite thick being slide design.
Summary: Excellent features and spec. if thats what your after but not if you like neat, slim phones

- 18/06/06 Hiya, What is the phone like to use as a phone? Is it easy to make calls? What is the quality like? Is it easy to send texts etc. Think about what info you want to know when you were about to buy the phone... explain about battery life, screen quality and all the other features - not just the camera as that is only 1 function of many.
Read around the site and you'll see what sort of info could be included - click on Edit review and you can add more detail.
