Well here it is, eventually, my review about the Samsung D600. It’s a great phone an even better phone than the one before it. Mainly because it’s an upgrade. It has so many good features that are great and more even better functions/ Features. Its capabilities are so much more and can make your life a lot easier in the mobile world. As well as its great functionality it also has a new better and slim lined look from the phone previous.

The new D600 has a great look throughout the phone when you are using it for example all of the menus look stylish and elegant making it an even better phone to use. I find the phone looks and acts really well as it has met all of the needs that I have ever wanted it to do. With technology ever changing even newer and better feature have been brought into this phone as extras, this way the phone looks and works even better and it also allows the advanced phone user to pretty much what ever they want to do with the phone for example putting their videos on to the computer or on to the television.

Well let’s start with its functions then. It has the basics that all mobile phones have such as the ability to be able to ring people and the ability to text people wherever they are. Each menu has a submenu within it giving you more options to choose from. The menus are very user friendly and allow navigation easily throughout the phone. It also has the ability to play java games that can be played on most phones nowadays so that entertainment is only a click away .There are ways in which phones are alike nowadays such as most phones can take pictures and record videos. It has the ability to store dates of your choice in its calendar and has a reminder service that you can set to remind you different things at different times.

Well GPRS is the ability to be connected to the internet and to the wireless phone network; it will allow you to receive picture and video messages from other phones and generally makes your phone better if you have this accessibility.

2 mega pixel camera with flash means that when you are taking a picture you will be able to have flash which in some case will make the picture turn out better for example when you are in a dark room. The two mega pixel bit means that for every picture that is took on the phone then there are 2,000,000 dots of colour in each therefore the higher this number then the higher the quality of the picture. This is an even better camera then the phone before it because the D500 only had a 1.3megapixelk camera.

Bluetooth printing is another feature that wasn’t on the downgrade phone because it is a newer technology. It means that if you have a picture on you phone that you would like to print then you connect your phone to the printer via Bluetooth and it allows you to print off photos directly from the phone saving both time and effort. Also as a newer technology to the phone it allows you to connect a cable to the phone and then connect it to the printer and print off photographic images from the phone that way. This also saves time and effort than loading them on to your computer and then printing them manually.

As the phone can take and record videos, then you can use the feature of video messaging this includes creating or receiving a video and then sending it in a message to somebody else who can accept video messages this then enables the transfer of videos over long distances even easier. I think that this functionality is actually quite amazing because it’s sending a video from one phone to the other in nearly the same form as a text. I find that quite amazing to do. But thanks to technology it’s all going on.

With the theme an the layout of the menus etc looking even better on the phone than ever before I find that the TFT display helps to show that this is quite an amazing phone Being able to listen and store music on the phone I think that the use of the loud speaker is also a great feature because it allows for great 3D sound.

The new and improved features that this phone has are never ending. Another function that I find great on this phone is that fact that if I connect a lead to the phone and then into the television anything that I do on the phone will show up on the television. What a great idea. An excellent way to broadcast your video clips for everyone to see. As well as the phone being able to connect to Bluetooth printers it is also able to connect to other Bluetooth devices so that files can be transferred or calendars can be synchronized.

This phone like a lot of phones these days has voice recognition meaning that if you were to write a text you could say it into the phone and it would come up on the screen and it is also used as shortcuts on the menus for example if you were to say games then it would go to the games menu if that is where you had it set to go. Excellent.

As a final specification the phone is very light weight at only 99g and it is also very small in size with the sliding technology. The D600 has the dimensions 96 x 46.5 x 21.5 mm and then it slides out and extends to show the keypad of the phone which can be used to text, dial numbers, play games, navigate around menus and many other things.

In my opinion I think that this is one of the best phones that are around on the market today because of its advanced technology. I found that it has met the needs of whatever I have wanted to do with it, its total awesome and is great value for money. When I bought my phone it was £279.99 but now it has decreased in value a lot and I think that it is selling for a lot less in some places such as you would be able to get it quite cheap if you were to shop for it on eBay.co.uk. I would recommend this phone to any potential buyers because it is just a great product for you to use and great value for money.
