Advantages: Good range of options
Disadvantages: Quality getting outdated
I've owned this phone for about 4 years now and despite dropping it in the cat's milk (where it complained for a day or 2 before being revived), dropping it on the floor and receiving the usual wear and tear in that time, it's still going strong!
Nowadays the phone probably won't cost much so if you are looking for a budget phone then you can't go far wrong. I use it mainly for texting and taking videos and photos. These 3 options are all simple to use, and don't require excessive 'clicks' to get the job done.
Videos - the quality is ok, not Hollywood quality filming but if you are using it for taking videos of the kids etc then it's a decent option.
Camera - as above it's good enough quality without being top drawer. There is a nifty multishot option too, whereby you can take up to 15 shots in succession, meaning you can keep all of the shots or just select the best ones, if, for example, your are snapping a fast moving image such as a bird, aeroplane or kids playing football etc.
There are other options such as MP3 player, internet, calendar, alarm clock etc and you can change your screen background to any picture that you take as well as the standard phone options.
As seem to be the trend these days, the games are limited to mainly demos, with the 'striker' football game the only one that you can play in full without being cut short and asked to pay if you want to carry on and play the full game. Bring back Snake I say!
Anyway, overall it's a good, reliable phone which is to be expected from a top brand such as Samsung. Worth buying!
