Aside from my iPhone, I use this phone when going on long trips out in the car in case of emergency. It does exactly as I need it to do and has never needed to be used for emergencies although is handy whenever I need to make calls and my battery has died. It's very user friendly and simple for all ages.
The design is compact and easily stored. It isn't heavy and fits neatly into pockets, bags, cupboards, doesn't take up a lot of room and doesn't feel bulky either. The battery lasts for ages, making it ideal for use as a second phone in case the main phone becomes broken or uncharged. The buttons are easy to press and aren't that crowded together as long as you're not typing excessively fast. The surface is made of Hyperskin CMF and is very nice to hold in your palm, not easily droppable and the phone doesn't break easily even if it is dropped! The screen is small though but can be very clear to see even when the sun shines directly on it.
It was surprisingly easy to set up and the menu isn't difficult to navigate. It's very simple to find your contacts, texts, settings, to more advanced features such as the radio. It has a good selection of 40 variable ringtones, all of which are quite stereotypical for an older phone but still a great range to choose from! It's possible to send texts to up to 20 individual people at one time which would also make it suitable for a work phone.
Unfortunately the phone doesn't have a camera which is a downside for the phones of today. It's also quite dated which is why I definitely wouldn't have it as my main phone! It's good for what I need it for though.
It would also be suitable as a first phone for a child or someone elderly in need of a simple device.
