I got this phone in January 2006 on an o2 contract and found it a great little phone. Its not my main phone anymore but I did use it when I went travelling around asia and europe recently and it never let me down once and picked up a signal in every country. This was my first phone that was not a nokia so I was a little worried how I would adapt to it but I found it really easy to use. The only thing I found hard to get use to after been on a nokia for so long was the cancel and select buttons are on opposite side so it did get thrown against a wall a few times when I kept deleting my messages instead of sending them!! It has a simple mp3 player ... Read the complete review

This is a super little phone that I have had for at least a couple of years ago and I have it on an O2 contract. It is a flip phone and has a display on the front which normally just shows the time but when there is an incoming call it will display who the caller is, this is really useful if you have it set up as active flip as on this setting once you open the phone the call is put through, you can disable this so that you have to press the green button to manuallly accept the call. I find that the quality of calls is good and the audio on the phone is nice and clear. The display is quite small but the colour screen s nice and clear and even though numbers as ... Ok I really hate writing bad reviews, so I will try to be nice here, but this phone had two problems for me, and and one of them I felt was a big problem which I will talk about now. As I was on a call the phone would heat up more and more and then really it would feel quite hot and burn my head up and give me a headache. This is no joke and I feel Samsung really screwed up on this part with the mechanics of the phone and no other phone I have ever used does this. I phoned up Samsung to ask if this was normal and they said yes for this phone it was, so they said I should just keep my phone calls short if I don't like it. This is not something I find acceptable ... Read the complete review

This was my first Samsung afetr being a true believer that it was all about Nokia's, but after being let down by them i decided i needed to try a new brand, The Samsung E720 was a very stylist phone in its day- with a flip shut screen- This ment that your screen never become scratched and you couldnt make phone calls from within your bag or pocket. The phone is very small and light weight, which is a huge advantage if you just want to slip the phone into you bag or pocket. The phone has various features such as a camera, text and picture messaging, and all of the features that you would expect from a phone of this time-. Some additional ... Read the complete review

Rating:
This phone is small and very light (weighing just 30g); easily fitting snugly into ones pocket without much of a noticable bulk. It is very durable and will even stand up to being thrown at a brick wall at a reasonable force, although I probably wouldn't recommend trying it out on a daily basis. The phone has been out for quite a few years now, but as it was quite ahead of its time in mobile technology when it was released, it can still compete with more modern models. The phone has all the necessary attributes one would expect from a modern mobile; games, internet access, texting and calling functions, and plenty of storage space for music with MP3 controls on the ...
