Samsung Galaxy S
Advantages: Great selection of apps, very easy to use, great screen
Disadvantages: back slightly weak, too many apps overload the processor
Last year I was offered a galaxy sII on a contract that was only 5 pounds more a month, I turned it down and it was a big mistake!
I love the android market 'play store' and I download new apps all the time. Unfortunately the processor in the phone struggles with this and I have found some of my apps have been crashing during use or just won't open any more at all.
Also the back of the phone is not very resilient, I treat my phone fairly well but I got one small crack on the back and now after taking off the back to check something on the sim the crack almost doubled in size and i'm worried if I have to open it again the back will snap of completely. Also it is annoying that the camera does not have zoom.
All this being said if you are looking for a 'good' phone that can do a variety of things but you are not a 'hardcore' phone user then this is a great phone. The apps are incredibly easy to organise and the app store really is amazing. I love being able to watch a film and instantly be able to search for who that person is that I recognise but just can't quite place.
Not a perfect phone but it'll do the job if you don't ask too much of it.
Summary: great as a 'my first smartphone'
