Advantages: You can find all of your emails in one place. fast, large screen and is in HD and great for apps.

Disadvantages: Emails can play up and battery life is quite short.

When opening the box to my samsung galaxy s2 (which ive had for just over a month now) i was pleased with my upgrade and on examining the phone i was shocked at how big the actual phone screen was and how light it was. I'm also pleased with the earphones that came with the phone as they are very loud which is good as i love to listening to music.
As i'm a student it is essential that i can access my emails easily, listen to music without too much hassle opening different files and folders and to be able to keep up to date with my social networking sites.

When it comes to emailing, the Samsung galaxy s2 is pretty efficient as you can add apps and widgets to one of the seven windows you can pan across, so its easy to access. Also you can add other email accounts to one email so all your emails are in one place, very efficient. one of the disadvantages are that sometimes it keeps having to refresh and it doesn't seem to be able to find any of my emails, very annoying but when it refreshes you get all of your emails back, except the new ones.

Listening to music is pretty good on this phone and when using the earphones is pretty good too. you don't have to open loads of folders and files like you did on my previous Nokia. It's easy to mute as well all you have to do is turn phone upside down so the screen is facing downward. music quality is as expected, very good.

Accessing my social networking sites is crucial for me as apart from studying i'm always on them! i've dedicated one of my pages that you can pan across on your home screen so its easy for me to access them as they are all in one place.

Some other features on the phone is the drop down message menu that you can view by just putting your finger at the top of the phone and swiping downward. This feature is really helpful as you can view messages and any social networking sites updates. Also any download activity you might have going on at that time. Unlocking the phone can also be a fun activity as you can set a password in the shape of a pattern which also helps add to the security. The unlock button is located at the side of the phone. The screen is much larger that other phones and is also in HD. most of the video is watch, i put in HD as its such a better picture and it doesn't even lag or buffer. Also although this isn't an iPhone it still has a voice recognition system/app that i think is very efficient as i use it to access all sorts of apps and programmes on my phone. You can use it to find things on the internet or open up Facebook for instance. You can also add live wallpapers in the background as a wallpaper. This is a very nice feature. Another good feature is the camera and video as you can record in HD and take precise and clear pictures.

Overall this phone is very good and I would recommend it if your into apps, games, emails and social networking. However, every product has disadvantages... The battery.
The battery life goes so quickly on the Samsung probably due to the fact that i'm always playing games, on apps or on a social networking site. Also the fact that i have a live wallpaper would have an effect on it as live wallpapers drain the battery. Another disadvantage is its charge rate, it takes a whole night to reach 100% which isn't a problem but my phone normally runs out of battery before then so charging it is a bit inconvenient.

Summary: Brilliant phone, worth buying and defiantly worth the time and money.
