I recently got this phone and it's just great ! It's battery life is way better than other phones and it's CPU is just incredible! This phone has a very good display, and you can watch films, videos on 720p! The sound is very good too. It's quiet loud so you will always hear this phone calling. One thing i really like in this phone, is vibration. This phones vibration is very smooth, not like other phones, sometimes i call them - tanks. Despite this phone looks great, and it's really nice, i have found some problems. Sometimes, when i'm in call with someone, i just can't hear him at all! It was crazy/ i had to restartt phone 3x times to make it work. And it's cpu sometimes mini-freezes. But i would really recommend you buying this phone :). I give this phone 8/10 because this phone is the best phone i've ever had :)
I've had my Samsung Galaxy W GT-18150 Phone for around a year now and overall i have to say it is a very good smart phone. Although most people tend to go for the IPhone models I didn't want to spend that sort of money and therefore looked for a cheaper alternative that would give me similar benefits. I searched online and found the Samsung Galaxy W. It costs me around £23 pounds per month, which is considerably cheaper than other competitors and it has some cracking features on it.
It has a 5 mega pixel camera which is easy to use and takes good quality pictures and also produces reasonable video footage also. The LCD screen is 3.7 inches which is a fair size but i understand is smaller than other phones on the market. The apps available on it are great too - my particular favourites being Airport City and Battlefriends!
On the negative side I did have to before Christmas send my phone of for repair. This was because it would not turn on past the 'Samsung' loading screen and would not charge. I sent it off and got it back within five days fully fixed. Since then i haven't had anymore problems. However, saying that i have googled the fault and the general advice is that these phones can get hot and are prone to the problems that i have experienced. Baring this is mind i would have to sum up by saying it is a good phone, especially for the price, but it may not be the most reliable in the long run.
So are you at that stage where you want a half decent android phone for a cheap price? Do you want something a little more powerful than the Galaxy Ace? I reckon this could be the phone for you.
I've had this phone since March, and as someone who uses a lot of apps and is basically by their phone the whole time this is certainly a really good product. I use social media (twitter, facebook) a lot and the occasional game like Temple Run and it can handle a lot of tasks fairly well. I'm not going to say it's perfect performance wise because to be honest, it has crashed about five times.
Think of it this way though, it isn't as beastly as the Galaxy S2 so we should really note that it can't deal with too many things at once. The phone itself is pretty rugged as I've dropped it a lot and it's doing fine. It's also a nice size, not too big or small which makes for reading things pretty useful.
Another little downside I'd say though is that it's very hard to find them anywhere. If you can and you do want a budget android phone this little piece of kit is fairly good, and for the average phone user you'll really grow to love it.
