Advantages: Nice little phone
Disadvantages: Unlocks easily
I'm not very good when it comes to mobile phones and I broke my last one by dropping it repeatedly, so I had no choice but to buy another one!
I bought this phone from 'Carphone Warehouse', I went for this design because it looked nice and it has a QWERTY keyboard that I was keen to try out. I bought the phone for £109.95 and it came with £10 credit on the phone, however, I think that the phone has came down in price now as I bought this phone in November 2009.
The phone itself is black and it is very shiny which gives it a nice polished look. It has a fairly big screen on the front which has an ear piece just above it and three buttons at the bottom. The three buttons are the; 'back key', 'power/Menu exit key' and the 'dial key'. The screen is a touch screen and it vibrates when you touch it so you know when you have clicked on something.
If you turn the phone around and slide it out then the 'QWERTY keyboard' comes out. This is useful if you want to send emails or just for messaging. On the side of the phone there are a few buttons. The buttons on the side are; 'volume key', 'hold key' and the 'recorder key'. On the opposite side of the phone the button for the camera is there and there is a headset jack at the top of the phone.
The phone has a 2mp camera which is ok but not the best if you want to take good quality pictures. The phone is quite simple to use and good for messaging and ringing people. The phone is also quite good for people who like to listen to music as you can listen to the radio on this phone through the headphones and also any music that you have put on the phone yourself. This is good if you havn't got an ipod or you just don't want to take your ipod and mobile out at the same time.
The only downfall to this phone is that it sometimes has a mind of its own and likes to call people when it is in your bag or pocket. I think this happens because all you have to do to unlock the phone is touch the screen. Therefore if it presses against something in your bag you are rining people without realising which can waist your credit; Samsung didn't really think that through!
Overall I think this phone is pretty good all round except the lock button!
