I bought this phone about a year ago when the contact of my old phone ran out. I decided to buy it because I couldn't decide weather I wanted a touch screen or one with a keyboard. Luckily for me I managed to find a phone with both! This phone can be used as just as touchscreen as the qwerty keyboard can be slid out when you want to use ...  Read the complete review

I got this phone as a birthday present of my boyfriend last year. I originally had an LG mobile that slided in a similar way to reveal the full Qwerty keyboard, but it broke and i was gutted. So when i unwrapped this samsung i was made up with it. As mentioned above it has a full Qwerty keyboard which is quite useful when you want to ...  Read the complete review

This phone was bought as I got bored of owning an LG Cookie. I paid around a hundred pounds for it and I honestly don't think was worth the money. I had it for around 6 months or more and the thing that attracted me to buy it was the querty keypad as I am a big texter, I liked that it would enable me to type very quickly. I finally decided to upgrade my very reliable sony ericsson after years of not having to. I ended up purchasing this phone for £90, based on the fact that, as well as black it came in another cuter colour, white and pink. I also loved that it had a touch screen and a qwerty keyboard. Being able to alternate between the two is ...  Read the complete review

I love Samsung phones and always have despite originally being a Nokia-Girl! However, I am not incredibly au-fait with phones...know how to call, text, bluetooth, take photos....the general but can do what the majority of people require out of a phone. I originally bought mine on the strength of it having a qwerty ...  Read the complete review

DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (154 words)

I recently bought this phone from my friend for 30 quid in brand new condition, and yet i still feel that was much too high a price for this awful, awful phone, let alone the £118.99 that its selling for. The phone lock button is indisinguishable from the voice recorder button next to it, and even when locked, it is annoyingly easy for ...  Read the complete review

I recently got this phone when going on contract. What attracted me to this phone was the Qwerty keyboard and touch screen features. As this was my first touch screen phone it took me a while to get used to the phone. Once used to it I found it really useful and convienient to have a touch screen. However when I bought this ...  Read the complete review

LOOK, CLARITY, EFFECTS! To start with the negatives, I got very bored of this phone after 3 months. Although the keyboard and touch-screen combination is a brilliant idea, it does come with downsides which put me off straight away. The keyboard buttons are really hard to press which makes typing quickly a stuggle, so try in ...  Read the complete review

I bought this phone 3 months ago from eBay for $ 102, after I "accidentally" stepped on and destroyed my last phone. I fell in love with the elegant design of this phone, black is always elegant to me. In addition, of course a wide touchscreen that makes me more impressed. But after i get the phone on my hand, the ...  Read the complete review

I bought this phone after a lot of research on the internet to see what people thought of it because I needed a mobile with specific features. And I'm glad to say the Samsung GT delivers most of them. What I can say is that it's definitely very similar to the Corby Pro but with a lower price tag that made it far more attractive to me. ...  Read the complete review

I no longer own this phone as I recently caved into peer pressure a got a blackberry, but I thought it necessary to write a review as the phone is very good. I could not decide whether to buy a touch screen or regular phone. I discovered this from carphone warehouse at only £90 and though it was a bargain. It all started with a sale at car phone ware house and after considering PAYG or contract I came away with this phone. At first the touch screen functions took a whil to get used to but this wasnt a problem as as i also comes with a slide out qwerty board. As most Samsungs very basic menus easy to navigate, plenty of security options ...  Read the complete review

I cannot remember the last time a phone went for around £105 and that too a decent one flaunting touch interface, 2.6 inch screen, a pull down full querty keypad, social networking software and messenger client. The phone feels heavy but not in terms of weight, more in terms of build quality. It actually feels safe; you could ...  Read the complete review

Don't you just love it when technology goes wrong? February was full of technological disasters for me but the first of such problems was on a dull Sunday morning when my beloved Samsung C300 started playing up; the battery power was far from consistent and I feared my twenty-pound wonder was about to die on me. Express Review on Samsung GT B3410
by Chris - written on 27/05/10
Rating:

Basically a decent phone except it turns itself on and I've had it make one call without me realising. It does this when in your pocket or inside a bag. If you were travelling for an extended time the only way to make sure it doesn't activate would be to take the battery out. The "lock" function is also easily disabled when carrying it in your pocket. Both the "on" and "lock" functions need to be on the bottom piece that is only accessible when you slide it open.

I'm not very good when it comes to mobile phones and I broke my last one by dropping it repeatedly, so I had no choice but to buy another one! I bought this phone from 'Carphone Warehouse', I went for this design because it looked nice and it has a QWERTY keyboard that I was keen to try out. I bought the phone for £109.95 and ...  Read the complete review

Samsung GT B3410: Avoid phone - keeps calling police! (196 words)

Hi, DON'T BUY THIS PHONE FOR KIDS This phone has an awkward set-up that keeps calling the police with the 'unnswitch-offable' SOS function (with the lock on), which has happened a lot in my son's pocket, because the buttons stick out. With the lock off, it calls everyone, anyway. It has happened even when the phone ...  Read the complete review
