I've always been a fan of Samsung mobile phones, having had and liked several in the past therefore after a brief hiatus from Samsung where I owned an HTC Touch HD phone I thought it was time for a change therefore my first thought inevitably was going to be to go for a much trusted Samsung phone. After doing a lot of research into new phones on the market I was briefly interested in the Nokia 5800 Xpress phone however after having a play around with it in the shop I came to the speedy conclusion that it's not all it's cracked up to be and made a quick diversion back onto the internet to look for a more suitable device for me. I seemed to be getting nowhere ... Read the complete review

For the past few years I've taken advantage of O2's sim only contracts which offer you a one month contract with great benefits in terms of free minutes and texts at quite a reasonable price. The reason it's so reasonable is the fact that you don't get a phone which means for the past year I've had a pay as you go phone which I paid about £70 for. It's quite a good deal really but I did get a bit sick of having a basic phone when all of my friends were surfing the internet and doing all sorts of things on theirs! I finally decided to take the plunge after months of envy and commit to a contract in order to get a more functional, modern and stylish phone. I opted to ... Read the complete review

Samsung Jet S8000 Having had my old Nokia Music Xpress 5300 for some time I recently decided I wanted a touch phone with a decent camera, and internet access, those were my basic requirements. I also wanted it to look good, sound good and be on a contract, but keep my same mobile number (was pay as you go) and I did not want to pay more than £25 per month. Not fussy at all, just know what I want....so off I trotted to the Vodaphone store to see what they could do for me....I'll just take a quick detour from the phone review to say how helpful the store staff were, another review for later methinks. Now, writing a mobile phone review it is ... Read the complete review

Well, where do I start? Samsung have clearly spent hundreds of thousands of pounds advertising the Samsung Jet phone. TV, radio, newspapers, billboards, everywhere you look you see them. It's a real credit to their marketing department that they can get so much exposure for what is actually a spectacularly average phone. Now first things first. To be fair the Jet doesn't claim to be a Smartphone like, for example, the iPhone, even though this is clearly the market they are aiming for. With a swanky touch screen, motion sensitivity and 5 mega-pixel camera and 800mhz CPU you'd think it was a worthy opponent to the very latest of Smart phones. Let me assure you ... The Samsung Jet is the new flagship phone from Samsung, it features some cool new features, and has been much hyped since it was announced earlier in the year. Does it fillfull the expectations set for it, or does it fail? The advertising campaign, and even the name of the phone, indicate why it is the new flagship. On the outside, the Jet seems to be quite an average touchscreen phone, similar to the Tocco, which has already been out for over a year. A 5 megapixel camera, HSDPA, wifi, 2GB memory, still very good specs, but look a little bit deeper and we see why it is such a highly rated phone. For this phone has the fastest processor any mobile to date has ... Read the complete review
