When it comes to a mobile phone, I have to admit, I like the best there is on the market. I feel happy in the knowledge that I have the latest, most interesting techno-gadget phone.

The Samsung Jet (S8000) is exactly that!

We'll start on the nitty gritty:

Camera:

It comes with an awesome camera of 5.0 megapixels, but I do not lie when I say it could pass for a 10 megapixel camera. Perhaps the HD feel to the screen that emphasises the quality of the pictures, but I can honestly say it even when uploading to the likes of 'Facebook' the quality does not distort in any form. Comes with all the cool extras, like photo editing capabilities (taking in b+w or sepia tone etc)
The Jet comes with auto-focus on this camera, which will not take the picture unless it has adequately focused and there is no blurring. Which is always handy when you have an unsteady hand or when you are out and about.
I seriously have not touched my digital camera since purchasing this phone, there simply is no need.

Touch Screen:

The touch screen, at first, made me weary about purchasing the phone. I heard horror stories on how peoples sensitivity played up, or it froze altogether.
I can honestly say, the touch buttons on this phone, is the most receptive I've experienced. There is no need to double-tap anything, because it didn't quite pick your finger up. It works first time, without fail. The speed in which actions are performed, as a result, are astounding. It's almost like the phone is running like a computer- with a dual core processer inside.
If you hate phones, that are sluggish, and slow to perform, than this is the phone for you!

Menu and Features:

This phone really does remind you of the iPhone, and at the fraction of the cost/contract length too!
Applications will run in the background, and lets you know which ones are, by leaving a little swirling blue circle beside the icon in the menu, so you can pick up where you left off-amazing!
I used to really think the only manufacturer with the simple but niche menu structure, was Nokia. Think again! Samsung have really come on leaps and bounds in ensuring lots of detail with the highest level of simplicity.
You can easily navigate around the menu and things are made self-explanatory.
Features include the usuals of most phones like: Internet, Bluetooth, Alarms, Music/Video Player, Radio etc
But what really sets this apart is the array of extra features such as: Google icon, Photo Browser (so you can browse your photos in a multi-media fashion), Video Editor, Voice Recorder, Timer, Stopwatch, Wi-Fi, Converter, Memo's, Downloads etc and many more!

Yes, I did say Wi-Fi. You can connect to any network, and your phone will act as the wireless dongle- for FREE. Whether at home, or in a cafe you can access the web for free and save that download allowance of yours!

The quality of the music player and the layout is immense, it really is just like an iPod!

The design of this phone, is slim-line, shiny, black and looks very sophisticated. It's slimline but robust feel, makes it suitable for either male or female and I could not rate this phone any higher!

Overall, battery life is brilliant (which is hard to find in phones with an immense array of uses and features), the look is amazing, the general running of the phone is super fast, and doesn't break when you drop it!
