Advantages: The camera and the large range of features that are easy to use
Disadvantages: Slightly bulky but advantages overcome this
When my mobile phone contract was up for renewal I had no idea what phones were on the market and which ones to even consider. I went back to Carphone warehouse where I have always got my phones from for the impartial expert advice.
The sales advisor really raved about the new M8800 Pixon. I was very conscious about a touch screen phone, I just thought it was something else to go wrong. I managed to have a play with it and work through the menus in the shop before I went ahead with it. I was surprised at how easy it was to use and navigate. The main feature I wanted from my new phone was a good high mega pixel camera and this phone having an 8mexa pixel camera was perfect. It would be impossible to comment on every feature but I have added a few comments and tips.
Yes the phone is slightly bulky, but it doesn't feel that heavy and the screen is nice and big and clear and all the features make up for any extra weight.
I like the widget function where you can bring things across to the main screen and make short cuts to other features such as messaging and the music player rather than having to go the long way round things.
The phone comes with a stylus, which is to help you navigate the phone, especially for texting, however it works perfectly fine with your finger or nails, false or not! When using the internet it is easier to use the stylus purely for scrolling down and stopping where you actually want it to!
I cant fault the phone yet and I have had it for 3 months now.
The only thing that disappoints me is the availability of accessories especially the lack of cases available that are of a reasonable price. Its an expensive phone with the main component being the screen, if that gets damaged then its unlikely you would be able to use the phone. I managed to get a cheaper version of the case they recommend for the pixon off of eBay, its perfect for the job, still allows me access to the camera, lock button and answering and cancel button, but does add a bit of bulk.
I highly recommend this phone.
Summary: Top phone from Samsung, highly recommended
