What a brilliant phone!!

I have never used a touch screen before so was a little apprehensive! All I can say is its very easy and intuitive. The Tocco lite is new on the market as a rival to LG Cookie. It has virtually the same spec but apparently without the freezing screen which alot of people have it complained about.

The Tocco Lite is available on most networks as PAYG or contract.

I have a £15 month contract on Virgin - unlimited texts & 300 minutes, which is fine for me as I have been with Virgin Media (NTL) and mobile for the past 7 years without any problems. In fact I have nothing but praise for them especially the Mobile team.
I placed my order at 3pm on Wednesday and received my brand new phone at 2pm on Thursday. Wow impressive!

Anyway back to the phone - It had a decent charge on initial start so I could start playing immediately. It holds a charge very well even with lots of music playing, its takes about 4 hours to charge fully from flat, although I try to keep it topped up regularly.

The sim is easy to put in and is recognised with no problems. A small niggle would be the address book reversed all my contacts so I had to spend some time editing them. No problem with the touch screen and qwerty keyboard which appears if the fone is turned. I have found this an easy way to type quickly, better than T9.

I have added a Sandisk Micro SD card (8 Gb) to expand the 50Mb memory and again no problems.I connected the Tocco to my PC and transferred my music files quickly and easily. The music player is easy to use and the sound quality is very good, especially when lazing in the bath!! (My bathroom has great acoustics!)

The widgets are great fun and can be easily changed to suit your needs, it is like having a shortcut on the front screen.

The ring tone and message alert can be changed easily to a song from your collection and the volume is excellent, as loud as you like!

The 3MP camera is very easy to use and takes good quality pictures, I really like the 'smile' recognition, it waits until your 'victim' smiles before taking the pic, useful for those sneaky pics of reluctant family members! It also has panoramic, landscape, action, night and sunset options. I haven't used the camcorder yet so can't comment on it yet.

The Tocco comes with Google Maps preloaded which is a useful addition with directions, satellite images, map view and traffic. Handy in the car especially when you aren't the driver!! There are other applications and games but I haven't explored them all yet, at least 2 of them are Demo only.

The Samsung Tocco does not have Wifi or 3G but if you wanted those you would have to pay for them by buying a high end phone.
Overall I can highly recommend this phone, I am not very tech savvy but have throughly enjoyed using this phone.

Summary: I don't need to feel embarrassed when my phone rings in public anymore!!!
