The Samsung GT S5230 is more commonly referred to the Tocco Lite in the marketplace. It is the latest addition to the Tocco range from Samsung which brings touchscreen technology to you at an affordable price.

Samsung continue with their already successful widget concept on the touchscreen allowing applications to open easily from the home page. There's a nice variety of useful applications on offer too. The touchscreen seems to work fairly well on this phone, it's quite responsive & also flows through smoothly. The phone itself it also nice & lightweight, but feels solidly build at the same time. Another positive is that the battery life is pretty good and you can leave the phone uncharged for a number of days.

One of the major drawbacks with this phone is the lack of connectivety on offer. There is no 3G, Wifi or GPRS facility available. This means that surfing the internet on this phone is never going to offer you fast speeds. The camera is nothing to shout home about either. It's 3.2 megapixels and has no flash.

So overall, I would say that this is a solid & affordable phone which is lightweight with a responsive touchscreen & a decent battery life. However the lack of connectivity really lets it down.
