Disadvantages: starts to decline in quality after long period of use

I got this phone on a contract deal from O2 in the pink colour rather than the black but, regardless of the handset colour, the phones are exactly the same. I have had this phone nearly 2 years and it has worn extremely well. It has been dropped on hard surfaces on numerous occasions getting only small scratches and had even been dropped in a bowl of water and survived! The layout on the main search page is easy to use, everything is in the folder you would expect it to be in (not always the case with newer models!) The main problem I have with this phone is that there is no USB port, something that would be very useful to move photos and music between the phone and my computer. Not having this prt and my computer not having blue tooth means that I cannot take full advantage of the camera and MP3 facilities on this phone. I would recommend this phone for people looking for one to last around 18 months, in the last month my phone has started to randomly switch off, this only happens about once every 3-4 weeks, so not too much of an inconvenience but it does mean I will need to purchase a new handset soon! However, this fault could be linked to my having put it in water so may not happen to all D900s.

Summary: well worth buying for those who want a simple phone to last 18 months - 2 years
