Advantages: Good camera, Good multimedia player, Easy to text, Password function protect
Disadvantages: Unreliable, becomes impossible to use after a few months
This is a phone I purchased back in 2007, soon after its release. I got it because it looked amazing and the free Benefit make-up gift box. I had many problems with this phone, Samsung phones were then known to be quite problematic, and this was no different.
Firstly, you can have the phone in either chrome (silver) or candy (pink). This model was always exclusive to o2, so with Woolworths gone, the only place to purchase from is o2.
The phone is very eye-catching and shiny. It is also very light, and pretty delicate, so take extra care.
The D900i features a 3.15 Megapixel camera, quick internet, good quality MP4 player and a good media player. It is very advanced in features compared to many others with the same price. The only disadvantage is the short battery life which has gone dead within a day, but I bought another battery to overcome that.
If you want to upload pictures onto it from your PC, you won't be able to zoom in on them on the phone.
My problems with it were that after 3 months of decent usage, it turned itself on and off, made random calls, sent empty texts and became hard to slide up. Despite its problems, I was sad to let it go to mobile recycling heaven.
Summary: Not worth buying
