Advantages: Easy key pad, some good features, very easy to use

I have this phone at the moment and although it's cheap it (I think you can get it for as little as £25 or even £20 if you top up a certain amount) it can be a false economy, so don't be fooled.

First of all if you want to use it as an MP3 player you can't put WMA songs on it (but you can convert them, this takes time) and you have to buy a micro SD card, which can't be more than 2GB or it won't read it. My 4GB card is sitting on my shelf now gathering dust.

The battery life is low, and headphones have to be Samsung's own, unless you but an adapter, which is even more money!

Also, it's been off for repair once, a problem with the charging dock being too loose (which I was told is a frequent problem with small phones - so you can't have everything!). Now at times I can't hear anything in a call - the person can hear me saying "hello, hello" but I hear nothing! It can happen with an incoming or outgoing call. Which of course eats your credit.

The internal memory is so low a card is really compulsary if you're using it as a camera or MP3 player.

So please don't be fooled look at the extra costs:

Headphone adapter (which if you use you can't get a signal for the radio)
SD card
Repair costs
Unlocking costs (to increase phone value and make it more useful, now that's a waste because I can't really sell it when it's broke)

I am now looking for a new phone! I can't use the warranty again, they let me have it last time but they could have said no as I got it unlocked to use on another network (plus it increases the phone value if you want to sell it) so really all those costs, I may as well have spent some more money and bought a better phone. All the features are just there to lure you in! So think twice!

There are a few good points like it's really easy to use - if people say the battery cover is hard to get off ignore this, for me it was hard the first time but after that you just need to do it a certain way, you get the hang of it.

Summary: Buy it if you want a temporary phone or very basic phone that's not going to last
