****Samsung - sgh e530 **** *Design* The box that i got this phone in showed the phone in several colours, however i have only ever seen it in a pink/purple shade so i assume that this is the easiest to come by. Apart from pinky stripe down the middle the phone also has a display which shows the time, how much power you have left and what the reception is like. You can also set it so that it shows a picture/ photo and the date. On either side of the phone are buttons. The right hand side has a button witch lets you take pictures of yourself or record, depending on what setting you have it on. There is also a bit to put headphones in. On the other side ... Besides the ordinary text and call function, this phone does not have any outstanding features. That is, unless you are the stereotypical girly girl that this phone is blatantly designed for. Personally, the idea of having a 'pink calendar' on my phone is just laughable. In all fairness though, Samsung had developed an early version of the iPhone's 'apps', which now looks dated, but may well be useful for some. In terms of usability, the phone is straightforward and friendly. A handy function is the ability to set your own shortcuts for the central navigation keys. I have it set to text messages, calendar, call register and alarm and use it ... Read the complete review

For some reason I have two mobile handsets, this is my preferred one since my other is the truely horrid Siemens CL 75 Poppy (somewhere there is a terrible review of it to match but I havent the heart to re-write it). This one I bought just over 18 months ago as a backup, or rather the nightclub I worked for asked the Supervisors to pick a phone so that we could od the managers job by being on hand to deal with suppliers and people calling about jobs. We all chose this handset but on different networks (mine has the Tesco pay as you go SIM), and different colours, of course being a Tesco phone I could only get the pink version which caused some hilarity given ... I've got this phone on a contract as I work for Vodafone. I'm on a staff tariff so I won't be discussing anything related to that, as it wouldn't apply to most people. You can get this phone on contract with Vodafone, O2, Orange or Sim free so you can be on Pay as you go or use T-Mobile, any other networks that you may use. The SIM free phone will cost you around £200. In the box, you get The phone + battery The charger Carry Case in the colour of your phone Wrist strap in the colour of your phone Stereo hands free kit The Manual and guarantee papers The phone comes in different colours. I have owned this phone for the best part of 2 years and it has never let me down. As you can see I have given this phone a 4 star rating because I have a few issues with it. First off I have to comment on the design it is a smooth rounded phone that is almost perfectly oval in shape and sits beautifully in your hand. What I love about it is the originality of the design instead of the usual flat black design this design is fresh and different it is silver but has a band of colour (usually purple) running down the middle As with most flip phone it has a smaller screen on the outside which is useful for a quick glance at the time. However as much as I love ... Read the complete review
