Advantages: Battery life, tiny size, software
Disadvantages: Text tone, fiddly charger slot
This phone is simple yet effective - it does a job plain and simple.
If you want a phone that is easy to text on, can hold plenty of messages and names/numbers without having all the rubbish you get on Sony Ericssons or the rubbish clunky software you get on LG's and Nokia's these days then definitely get this phone!
I got it on an Orange contract for free, in sleek black, and even having dropped it more than once on the pavement it still looks bloody good! The camera is good but not great, but then again I have a camera for taking pics so that doesn't really bother me.
The best thing about it is that it is tiny, you can put in the pocket of your jeans and you'll genuinely forget it's there! Also it takes a microSD card so you can fill it up with MP3's or whatever to use with the headphones that come it in the box.
The only minor (very minor) gripe that people have with some Samsung's is that you can only set the text tone to one of four fixed ones. Doesn't bother me to much though as the vibrate is solid and suffices.
Lastly the battery is amazing, 5 days on vibrate or 3 on loud.
Summary: Buy it if you can find one.
