I, as many others, have always favoured Nokia phones and through years of use become accustomed to the features they provided. It is not until you leave the Nokia fold and try something else that you really notice the small things about a phone that can make all the difference. On the surface of it a phone by a different manufacturer may seem to offer the same functionality as a Nokia phone, but it is the small differences that can make the difference between it being better or worse than what you had before. One evening while relaxing in a local watering hole with a couple of friends the conversation moved on from the high level discussions about beer quality and football to take a lighter tone with a comparison of our mobile phones. Over the last 8 years, I have steadfastly stuck to the one brand of mobile phone, the Nokia. Basic reason being that I pretty much knew what I was getting and could mostly guarantee a trusty reliable phone for the year I had the contract.
