Advantages: Excellent camera, cool polyphonic ringtones, great display
Disadvantages: Easily scratchable front
A couple of months ago I decided to join the rest of my friends in the new technological era and purchase a camera phone. This was an excellent decision and although it may have cost me £300, was very worthwhile.
I chose the Samsung E700 for many reasons, the main one being the fact that the phone I had previously, the A800 (the older version, without a camera) operated along the same lines as this phone, with similar menus. The colour screen, polyphonic ringtones, instant WAP access and easy of use are other reasons why I decided to go for this phone.
The phone is the 5th different phone I have had in the past 2 years - I tend to get bored of phones easily, however this phone is different and I can never see me getting tired of such a brilliant phone. There is a huge range of ringtones, downloadable games and other extra which prevent the phone becoming tedious to myself.
Overall I would definetly recommend the Samsung E700 to anyone wanting to buy a camera phone, and although the price is quite steep, it is definitely worth a purchase
