Advantages: Good looking, reliable, at the fancy end of basic

Disadvantages: Can't vibrate and ring at once!

I have had my Samsung SGH-E900 for over 2 years now and it is still going strong. Its a really great phone looks-wise, but there are a few flaws in the design which can be frustrating.
Firstly, the touch keys. I got used to them after a little while, I soon learned my lesson after brushing the cancel button whilst writing a text and losing the whole thing one too many times. Other than that, they don't cause me any problems at all. Some people just don't get on with them at all however, so if in doubt steer clear! The other buttons I find are just the right size and do very well.
The look of the phone is very sleek and smart, with an easy slide up mechanism that isn't too clunky and the light of the touch buttons fades in and out as you slide it up and down which is a nice touch. The screen quality is very good, that and the discreet buttons and the shine of the case make it a very attractive phone. It does get covered in fingerprints very quickly though! Even though I've managed to drop my phone qutie a few times and don't particularly protect it from scratches etc it still looks smart after 2 years.
It is relatively small in size, and quite robust (as previously mentioned, I've dropped it quite a few times and its still fine). I find it a perfect size for fitting in pockets and small bags without the risk of snapping it in half by sitting on it as its so thin or losing it in your bag as its so small.
Battery life I have no problems with, I have to charge it every 2-3 days with average use.
The speaker is VERY loud and you will definitely not have any troubles hearing your caller. Nor will anyone else in the room, for that matter.
The one thing I find quite frustrating in this model is that you can't set it to vibrate and ring at the same time. You can have one, or the other, or one then the other, but not both at once. I see no reason for this and find it quite annoying. Another thing is that the memory is quite small; it only holds 200 messages or so (although when I upgraded from my brick nokia which could only hold 10 I thought this was amazing..!) and less than 10 music tracks, depending on length. The picture memory is fairly large but I don't use this so much as I don't think the camera is very good.
Apart from these small gripes, I think this phone is brilliant and would recommend it to anyone who won't be bothered by the touch keys!

Summary: Great phone, would recommend to anyone who wanted a nice looking phone with all the essentials
