Advantages: Stylish, Many Features
Disadvantages: Touch phone is not ideal when your wearing gloves!
Samsung E900
I have had this phone for about two years now and it's a great design. It looks great and can easily slide into your pocket so the design is also quite sleek and stylish. Available in two colours, black and supposedly pink (but more like red), I own the pink version and it's really good. I have dropped it countless number of times and somehow it has managed to survive, which is good. The slight disadvantage to the phone is that the touch buttons are annoying and frustrating to get used to. When you are writing a text, it is possible to brush your finger over the cancel button (touch key) and loose all of your text. By using this phone, it can be quite hard to send a text when the day is cold and you are wearing gloves as the keys are quite sensitive. The 2mp camera takes reasonably good quality pictures for a camera phone. To store all of these pictures and music and more, the phone comes with 80mb of built-in memory plus the space to add an additional micro SD card. I understand that this is quite a normal size memory however without my added SD card, the video clips (which this camera can take) along with the photos etc would go no where. I was therefore forced to buy a 2gb micro SD card.
Since I have purchased this mobile I have had need to bring it back to the shop for repair on 3 separate occasions, and although Samsung have been very good in honouring their two year warrantee it is something to bear in mind.
Overall, the Samsung E900 is a great phone but has a couple of disadvantages here and there.
Summary: A great girly kinda phone

- 19/07/09 Worth knowing that you've needed a few repairs and that they've done it both times without issue. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing but... it's definitely a thing worth knowing :-). Good review. |
