Advantages: solid, reliable

Disadvantages: touch buttons take getting used to

I got a great deal on a gold coloured samsung e900 and phone was very solid. The screen is clear and menu system easy enough to use even if you're not used to samsungs. The sound quality and reception is very clear and the phone has a solid chunky feel to it when it's closed.

When you slide it open it lights up and although the buttons are thin they seem to do the job and are solid enough. The camera is good for a 2 megapixel and it has zoom which is a useful addition.

The touch buttons are OK but get a bit of getting used to and probably not for you if you don't like that kind of feature as they can be annoying due to the response time.

It's quite a standard phone in terms of features but slightly different in its slide design with touch buttons. Overall a very solid reliable phone.
