A decent phone, if a touch sensitive... (Samsung SGH-E900)

Advantages: Good camera, reliable Disadvantages: awkward menu, hypersensitive touch buttons I got this phone a few years ago, second hand from ebay. I was attracted by the touch screen controls which were pretty funky back then, but these turned out to be the worst part of it. They are so sensitive that you often found yourself writing a text message only to jump to the main menu as you've accidentally brushed the hypersensitive buttons. I had worried it was simply down to my hamfistedness but a mate of mine recently started using this model and is going through exactly the same problems. It does get easier to work with through time though. My other major criticism is that the menu system is not the most straightforward and is rarely intuitive. I've been trying to make it stop performing a loud jingle each time I send a text for ages but could not work out how on earth to do it - now that it is no longer my main phone it has stopped of it's own volition. The ringtones which come with it are jarring and as such it's an excellent alarm clock and it's best feature for me was the ability to use a music track as your ringtone. (I had glass onion by the beatles). The camera also surprised me at its quality, once you adjust the setting. Taking content off the phone however is a very laborious process... Its a good little tidy phone though and should be available for next to nothing now. Summary: A decent option for PAYG
