Ah, the Samsung F210, how many times has someone commented on my phone saying 'oh that is the cutest thing I have seen!' and it's true, it's so tiny, it fits perfectly in your pocket or in your bag without taking up too much room, and it is simply cute! As for the functions, it's got all the basic stuff, phoning, text message, it also takes photos and videos, which come out surprisingly clear for a such a small phone, though ofcourse not the level of clarity that the latest phones have. It holds upto about 140 text messages, and there's plenty of room to store music (it is an mp3 player as well) and photos, and a little bit of room for videos. It is mainly and has been advertised primarily as a music phone and comes with a set of headphones and bluetooth.
It doesn't have any of the latest things such as maps and internet. I personally haven't had any trouble with mine, though I have read some reviews which say that their phone sometimes freezes up, but so far that hasn't happened to me, and I've had this phone for a couple of years now. If you're looking for something small, that doesn't have the latest things in it like the iphone does for example, then this is the phone for you. I know I wouldn't trade my phone for any of the latest stuff...but that's probably just me!
The Samsung F210 is a smart versatile phone which I had for 3 years. Its comes in a variety of colours including blue and black. The phone itself looks more like an MP3 player and nearly all my friends were gob smacked when I told them it was a phone.
The music player on the phone stored up to 250 songs but this can clearly expand further up to about 750. Its has a swivel design and weighs roughly 70-75g. There has been many a time when I have lost it in the bottom of my bag (which could be a negative part of the design).
It comes with a 2.0 mega pixel camera and a jog wheel which makes scrolling your music files a lot easier. Files from your phone are easily transferred to your PC via the USB cable or you can use the drag and drop method to put additional tunes onto your phone.
I was gutted when my son decided to sink his teeth into it the other day but I will definitely be looking to replace the phone with the same.
I bought this phone Christmas 2007 and have now (November 2009) replaced it but this was due to it being stolen not by choice. I usually only buy Nokias but saw this one at the O2 store and really liked it. I didnt get alot of nice comments about it though everyone says its ugly!
It a great phone, its very compact, unique design and has alot to offer. The main thing for me was the camera and the storage on the phone. It holds 1gb on the phone itself alot more then most phones on the market and also can hold an sd card of 1gb so thats 2gb on one phone!! The camera I found great unlike most phone camera that take forever to take the picture and then blurs the picture once taken I had no problems with this one especially taking pictures of 2 hyper children! Thankfully before the phone was stolen I did move everything off it onto my laptop and I had 600 photos, 100 videos and also 100 sms and 100 music tracks! I couldnt actually believe how much was on there.
When colsed the phone is turned into a music player this you can lock by using a button on the side but once opened you cannot lock the keypad. The phone comes with earphones that at the bottom of the phone if you pull off the silver bit has a usb connection. The earphones also act as a airiel for the radio. The speakers are quite loud and very clear.
The phone has the usuals of calender, games, sms, wap, camera, video camera, voice recorder etc. It is very compact and lightweight and I am truly gutted I no longer have this phone.
There is a lot to say about this phone.
It has been around since 2007, and is extremely handy! It has a 2 mega pixel camera, 1 GB of internal memory which is rarely found with phones these days.
The phone itself is very light and small so it is probably more suited to the younger market, the phone has 3 buttons across, unlike the model previous with only two buttons across.
These phones come in four different colours; blue, black, pink and purple. Parts are easy to find with it being such a popular phone. Problems occur rarely and if they do, the shop where purchased should be happy to exchange.
This phone was sponsored by girls aloud at its release and was shown on their music video.
The phone can connect to the internet and the blue tooth feature allows pictures and music to be sent to it.
The phone is very easy to use and i would recommend to the teenage market because it is trendy and useful.
Advantages of this phone would be that it is small and it can fit into pockets without a lot of trouble! Also, with the memory it can hold with no car inside, you can have around 100 songs stored on it! The camera is quite good for up close shots, long distance tends to be a little blurred.
Disadvantages would be that obviously it is quite a girly phone and it looks girly because it is cute and small. Also, it can be quite a pain flicking it round and this can also happen without you even touching it if it is in your bag or pocket and you could end up ringing someone!
Overall, it is a good phone but it does come with disadvantages!
So, I am notorious for losing phones, dropping them down the toilet, spilling cups of tea over them etc. My most recent phone, a very cute Sony Ericsson, died in the bath. After my mate got her new phone she let me borrow her Samsung SGH-F210 - brave girl! This is my review of probably one of the worst phones to hit the shop shelves.
In my opinion, size does matter! This phone is tiny which should be an advantage but this phone does it in all the wrong ways. Tiny screen = tiny writing, tiny photographs, tiny videos etc. So I have to put my specs on just to see what I am about to text someone! Tiny buttons, not ideal for drunk texting. So tiny I fear I will possibly lose it, break it or again lose it in a bubble bath. I feel it is perhaps too small, not that I like bulky phones, I like small lightweight phones, this has just took it to extremes.
This phone has the usual features you expect from a modern phone. A camera (2.0megapixels) I have not bothered using it though, due to the smallness of the screen you can hardly see what picture you have taken. It is also able to record videos, same problem as the camera though! It has an MP3 player which could be handy - however I have an iPod and find I do not need this. The other features are the usual ones you expect from any phone, even the ancient ones, calculator, alarm, pointless currency converter and good old stopwatch and timer.
Yup, this phones opens by swivelling the front round to reveal a long slim line phone. This swivel operation on the phone I am using has broken in someway so now every time I put it down on a hard surface it springs open and almost flies off the desk or wherever else I have put it. Also by closing over the swivel front the keys become locked, opening it unlocks the keys, so you guessed my swivel front is broke therefore when the phone lies open in my bag it either sends some blank text messages or phones some random people - not ideal. So when buying a phone, forget a swivel feature, looks cool but is totally impractical when it eventually wears out!
These phones come in some very pretty metallic colours which are all pretty till you have had the phone a week or two and it has been rattling in your bag and has been dropped countless times - the metallic finish to the phone I am using is disappearing by the day, and the phone looks less funky and stylish and more old and tattered.
So either I am totally careless with my phone or this phone is rubbish. I think it could be a bit of both. Any phone I have has to be able to withstand a lot, this phone is definitely not a contender! So cannot wait till I am due my upgrade and can get a new pretty phone. I beg you people, do not spend your money on this phone!
This phone is unique, stylish, funky and best of all tiny, weighing in at only 72g. The slim, swivel phone comes in a variety of colours from pink to black.
Although this phone looks great I really think it could be better. The camera is only 2megapixels and although I knew this before buying, I was really dissapointed to find that it had no flash. I use my camera mainly on nights out so it was a bit of a let down. However it does have video recording which can record up to an hour so i guess it has its bonus's!
The phone is great for an MP3 as it can hold hundreds of songs and the sound quality is excellent, better when wearing head phones though otherwise it sounds a bit tinny.
The small screen can be difficult to use and it means that photos and videos are tiny. However once loading them onto a computer, whether this si through the bluetooth device on the phone or a usb link they become a lot bigger and clearer!
I think this phone is great if you want a small and funky phone, and the metalic finish really makes it glam. If your after lots of gadgets and high tech devices than I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere.
I was excited to purchase a new mobile and wanted something easy to use that looked cool! I will be honest most of my phones before this were in the "brick" category!
The phone looks very sleek, and lots of people have commented on it, however there are a few disappointments to be had. . Firstly because of its small size and poor quality camera, even though it is 2mega pixels, there is no flash, so no way of taking photos in dark rooms, clubs outside etc. The actual quality of the pictures when taken in daylight are pretty good, when uploaded onto a pc. (Free software is provided with the phone.) Secondly, the phone does not have a large memory, and no way of adding a memory card. This is okay if your just using this as a basic phone, but not for modern phone geeks!
On the plus side, the phone is a jack knife style, which turns into an MP3 player or radio as desired on closing and does have excellent sound quality. The phone also has internet, excellent battery life and bluetooth as well, yet for the price there are a lot of features which could be improved upon.
This is a phone for those wanting a smaller handset and who are not too bothered about storing extra files etc and who are willing to pay 150.00 (uk) pounds upwards. There is no denying this is a sleek looking phone, but a little dissappointing...
I brought this phone because it looked stylish and small (I hate big phones). For the first few months of having the phone I thought It was the best phone I have ever had unfortunately things started put me off the phone such as, because the phone is so small the screen is also tiny therefore the pictures you take are tiny and when sending/receiving a text message the writing is really small and sometimes hard to see. The buttons are also really small so if you have bigger fingers this phone will be virtually impossible for you to use. The camera quality isn't great but this may be due to the small screen, however you can edit your pictures on the phone and add on effects which are good advantages. The swivel feature is a great plus as its slick and when you swivel it closed the phone turns into an MP3 player. Battery life is okay as long as you don't use the features for too long. The memory on the phone is small but acceptable as long as you don't want to keep over 30 pictures and a handful of songs. Overall a nice sleek phone with disappointing features.
The SGH-F210 mobile phones combine today's most advanced mobile phone capabilities with cutting edge music player technology in one super sleek package. Brilliantly designed with a swivel function that users can flick open to make calls or to playback music with ease.
The model features a 128 x 220, 262,144 color screen as well as a navigation control on the front with the navigation control that rotates around to reveal a keypad. The F210 comes with 1GB NAND of memory with the option of expanding up to 2GB on its microSD card slot and a two-megapixel camera. Both devices have a "3D sound effect" included in order to make them capable of providing music experiences at best standards.
