Advantages: Reliable, Packed With Features
Disadvantages: Battery Life
The phone is very good looking, it has metallic back and sides with a glossy black front, the size is good, its slim but not to slim and is the height of any normal candybar phone, it is slightly wider than most phones but this is to accommodate the touchscreen, the phone looks excellent and is one of the most stylish around, it looks very cool.
Even though the phone is touchscreen it has three handy controls, one on the right side near the bottom for the camera, one to change volume with one touch on the left side. The other is the main control used for bringing up a handy shortcut menu and also the call and call end buttons, the phone has been excellently designed for easy use as theses buttons along with the touchscreen make for easy use.
The touchscreen is good for calls but takes a while to get used to for scrolling and texting however it is not difficult although it is not quite as intuitive as it could be. The phone is good for viewing pictures and it also has a good music player and video player, it can browse the internet well and is generally a good all round media device. It can take good pictures with the 5mp camera although i still prefer a digital camera.
The main thing for me is the call quality when it comes to phones as you need to be able to hear the person you are talking to clearly, i found with the 3g turned on that the call quality is excellent and it is still good without it, you can hear people well even in low signal areas which is very good. I am pleased to say that this phone is very good and samsung have made it well, the only annoyance i have is not having a 3.5mm headphone jack to listen to music and the relatively short battery life. So far this phone has been completely reliable and has never failed on me once.
This phone is free on contract and costs around 250pounds to buy so it is not overly expensive
Summary: Good phone in the era of the touchscreen
