Advantages: Stylish, has more than you need.

Disadvantages: Touch screen for writing messages takes a little getting used to.

I received my Samsung tocco phone a few weeks ago as my free upgrade through orange, at first I vowed never to get a touch screen phone again as my last phone was the Samsung U600 and I had so many problems with this phone, always calling people I didn't realise I was calling and for 3 months it's like the phone just froze only on the odd occasion could I get into it but any way I eventually got that sorted and this is why I never thought I would get a touch phone again.

Anyway back to the phone at hand when I received the tocco I was pleasantly surprised, it looks very stylish and all the photos I saw online made the phone look like it was pretty big and chunky but it's not it's a decent size and quite slim.

I won't go into all the ins and outs of the phone because if you want to know that I'm sure you can go onto a phone website and check that out easily.

One good thing about this phone is the 5.0 mega pixel camera; it takes really good quality photos and even the photos you transfer from your old phone look just as good if not better on this phone.

I thought because the whole screen is touch screen that it would be really hard to use and you would be touching things you weren't meant to ect but this isn't the case at all. It does take a little getting used to at first but after a few days you get used to it.

Writing messages you have to touch each letter on the touch screen which does take some getting used to and it does take me a while to complete a message compared to using keys to text. I do still occasionally press the letter next to the one I wanted. To go back and correct a message you have to go into the arrow option and once you've gone back then you have to go back out of it which is a bit of a chore but again something to get used to.

I recommend if you have long manicured nails ect not to get this phone because you will not be able to use the touch screen on this phone, my nails were only slightly long and I had some difficulty. I think this phone should come with one of those touch screen pens.

The phone comes with a flip cover attachment which you don't have to use but if you are notorious for scratching your phone screen or dropping your phone then it's a nice addition to use to keep your screen scratch free.

There is also a little camera on the front of the phone for video calls which I'm sure will eventually be popular, not that I'm going to be using it any time soon though.

The battery life is also very good on this phone, I've had it for 2 weeks and charged it once when I first received it and once when the battery was low and I'm only missing one bar at the moment. The only thing I have found is that you can't seem to have your own tone for when you receive a message but you can have your own ring tone, I don't know if I can't find the option for it or you just can't do it but it doesn't say anything about it in the phone manual.

Oh the phone also has a song recognition feature where if you hear a song you like and you want to know who it is by when you are out and about you get it to record a bit of the song and in a few seconds it will come up with what the song is and what artist ect, which is definately a good feature for me.

I would highly recommend this phone, I've had it for a few weeks now and I absolutely love it.
