Advantages: Touch-screen interface; 5.2 Mega Pixel Camera

Disadvantages: Hard to text whilst moving;

The Samsung SGH-F480 also known as the "Tocco" is a phone which i have owned for a while now, it boasts a brilliant 5.2 Mega Pixel Camera and touch screen interface. This review is based upon the things that i feel are key for a teenager to have this phone. Please remeber, it may not appeal to you, yet it may to a teenager!

LOOKS!
As a busy student the need for a phone that was simple, yet stylish at the same time was a must have! The sleek phone boasts a massive (240 x 320) LCD screen, perfect for viewing images, texts and video! However, a disadvantage is that when i take the phone out of my pocket, everyone wants to have a look! Yet still, can't complain ;)

RELIABILITY!
The Samsung Tocco ticks all boxes in looks and reliability (There is even a free case included to protect the screen) and has not let me down ever since. The only slight disfunction that has occured since i have had the phone is that it does not respond if wearing gloves (pretty simple though!)

MUSIC!
The SGH-F480 boasts an impressive music libary system and internal storage (200mb) to be able to store around 23 songs (either t-pain songs are small, or the phone storage is large) However, the speakers are loud and great for private use or just being able to hear your phone ring from downstairs! Full marks from the music section.

CAMERA!
The phone has a 5.2 Mega-pixel camera which is great for snapping up pictures of your lovely nan when asleep, or a statue. However, i found that the tocco fails when it comes to taken pictures of moving objects - a simple task such as a friend kicking a ball is failed as the picture is taken a good 4 seconds after the ball is hit. Overall a great camera, but after time your Nan does get annoyed ;)

ANNOYING INTERFERENCES!
-The touch screen phone is great for user interfaction, however the task of texting whilst walking along is next to impossible. Many times have a had to stop, type out the text and continue. However, you take this risk if you buy this phone. After all, you could just call them!
-There is a camera situated on the front of the phone, its a shame that it is only in use for video calling. Could have got some nice snaps of myself!
- The screensaver for the phone is permantley set to the pictures that are defaultly stored on the phone. Sometimes its not great to have a picture of snow as your screensaver in mid-june!

Other Specifications that i feel are great for the phone include:
- Bluetooth with great range
- Touch screen enhanced games (who needs an i-touch?)
- Samsung PC stuido, to put your songs onto your phone
-The "Widget" - a side toolbar that allows you to effectively "store" your media player, calender etc.
- Video Editing software, great for them montages of your friends!

Overall, this is a great phone and i would highly reconmend it to the students out there!
If you have any questions, feel free to drop me a comment, i will do my best to help :)
