Advantages: Good range of features, intuitive to Samsung users

Disadvantages: Unreliable touchscreen and problems reading memory cards

I've had this phone since January, after upgrading my contract with Vodafone. This phone pleased me quite quickly. The touch screen is fairly responsive, and the layout intuitive to anyone who has used a Samsung in the past. I particularly like the side bar on the 'widget', which is very similar to the sidebar in Windows Vista, and works very well with the touch screen. I did, however, find it quite challenging to learn how to text with a touch screen phone. The buttons displayed for texting could possibly do with being slightly larger, as I frequently make mistakes while texting due to straying on to the wrong button, due to having quite large fingers.

The camera is of high quality (5MP) and the memory in built with the phone reasonable. I did have a problem, however, when I put an SD card in to expand the memory. The phone had problems with it, and didn't save a large number of pictures I'd taken.

My biggest gripe with this phone is that I've found it to be unreliable. On three or four occasions now the touch screen has simply stopped working, for no apparent reason. It stops responding to touch, and it can do this for anywhere between three days and three weeks at a time, leaving me without a mobile phone, which is highly annoying.

Summary: If you're looking for a touchscreen phone, I suggest you try another one

Touch screens don't seem to be very reliable do they! Pity.
