Advantages: Crammed with features
Disadvantages: Marketed as a web phone but not easy to use enough to be one
Great value phone!
I've had this phone for the summer and have to say I'm very happy with it. I love Samsungs and they've made every effort to progressively refine their phone models with the Toco being the most recently incantation.
The menus are very fast to navigate, I'm unlocking the phone and sending a text in seconds. The phone has a desktop (like a PC) and you can put your most desirable features one click away, such as creating a new text.
The Phone is crammed with features including 3G, bluetooth and supports a lot that you wouldn't expect including Google Maps!
The phone performs well, sometimes it begins to lag but if you keep pushing buttons it will just catch up a second later remembering everything you tried to do.
There are a lot of customisation options and Samsungs usual array of 5 alarms. It's also crammed with email features - I can set it to check my work IMAP (Email) and my hotmail (POP3) every hour, buzzing if it finds anything.
Samsungs now ship with a data cable and excellent software suite for your PC.
The Camera is very slow and inferior, this isn't a good camera phone. The phone doesn't scroll web pages very well, I haven't found a way to improve this yet. The dictionary still isn't big enough on predictive text, the other day the phone forgot the word 'they're' but remembers all my curse words!
I'm very happy with my phone, especially considering the value from the used market. If money is no issue then I would suggest looking at the more expensive Nokias until Samsung sort out the scrolling lag.
Summary: This is a great phone for Samsung lovers but keep your options open
