Advantages: QWERTY Touch Screen Looks the business

A great iphone challenger but nothing near an iphone killer. I've had the privilege of owning both, the F700 first. out of the box its an amazing bit of kit the touch screen combined with the qwerty keyboard offers masses of usability and functionality. this makes navigating the menus and use of the text and internet functions a delight. it is a great shame that this phone is let down by the lack of wireless and overall speed. Once the phone gets bedded in and memory and caches begin to fill the phone does slow somewhat significantly. But who cares when you have a handset that looks this good! And that didn't cost the earth from apple. Sadly this joy is short lived. Seems samsung didn't make the phone as durable as we all hoped t would be. Mine was sent in for repairs at least ten times for various faults and the paint and finish not been covered on the warranty remained in a sorry state. I have now retired the F700 in favour of the iphone 3g. To summarise, the samsung is packed to the rafters with clever quirks and is supremely user friendly its just a same it doesn't last. Unless you treat your phone like pot doll it's a money pit best avoided.

Summary: Good but not great. personally....Avoid!
