Advantages: Ability to obtain and maintain signal.

Disadvantages: Easily scratched

The Samsung SGH-G600 is my first contract phone, it's on Orange and is Black. At first I was really impressed for around the first 3 months the battery life was really good even with using the in built radio however it has gradually decreased and even with just general usage now needs charging approximately every 2 days. As for the radio it has to be connected to the arial which when using the earphones is fine; as it built in with it, however if wanting to listen to it through the speaker around a 30cm arial lead so not ideal especially if you haven't got it with you. However I think it's worse point is how easily the screen gets scratched, within a 4 month period it's hard to see the screen in direct sunlight. I believe that my phone has
experienced fair ware and tear and now has chips and scratched all over it- despite this it's still in normal working order. The 5MP camera is basic and has photo quality to match but the effects, frames and other functions of the camera/video makes the function overall as more than acceptable. Another downside to this phone is it's memory for messages, it holds with the sim card 220 message and phone alone 200 so pretty poor; I use this phone for work and personal and having to often delete messages is a slight problem for me. My partner has the Sony Erricson CV905 (I think) which is a lot more expensive however this phone can obtain and maintain signal a lot better in comparison. Overall it's a good, basic and simple phone to use but if you want a phone with a lot of features I wouldn't go for this as I wouldn't rate a single feature as excellent.

Welcome to Dooyoo. A good review here although it may benefit buyers to know what the digital clarity is like and easy to hear or speak for example.

Also having just come from the Orange shop today you should check them out - they sell phone screen protector films.
