Advantages: easy to use

Disadvantages: has a few kinks

The Samsung G600 is a stylish and elegent slider phone. It is very slim and nice to hold, fits perfectly in your hand and is comfortable to talk on. It comes with a bluetooth headset, a 1gb memory card, a handsfree kit, charger and a data cable.

So you unpack the phone and put it together, this parts easy as everything goes together nicely, unlike some phones where it's a bit complicated. You turn the phone on and you see a nice stylish welcome screen.

Once on the phone automatically brings up the setup wizard, this is good for people who aren't very good with mobiles as it allows you to set up the basics straight off with no difficulty. So far so good.

Once this is done you can begin to add in your contacts, this part is nice and easy if a bit time consuming. You can then setup your profiles and display settings. All of this is easily accesible from the settings menu which you can access by going into the menu and pressing the hash (#) key.

The memory on this phone is brilliant, i have downloaded over 10 games and barely touched the memory, this is without the added memory card. The main problem I have with other phones is that the actual phone memory is rubbish.

It has a 5 mega-pixel camera which is as good as some digital cameras. Both the camera and video recorder are good quality and easy to use.

The phone costs around £200 brand new. In my opinion it is well worth the money (more in my case as I paid £366). As good as the phone is however there are a few problems.

1 - you can't change the caller i.d to witheld as it will not change back if you do.

2 - sometimes the keys stick and seem to be not working.

3 - the phone sometimes resets itself if you change screens to fast.

4 - the battery life isn't brilliant, it runs down quite quick if you use the phone alot.

other than that i've had no problems with it. it also has some extra features that i think are good:

1 - you can create your own themes with the theme builder.

2 - it has a reject list for blocking calls and a block list for blocking texts so you can block certain numbers from contacting you.

My thoughts on this phone are that it is stylish and easy to use. It is well worth what I paid for it and I have no plans to change it in the forseeable future as this basically does everything I need it to.

I would definitly recommend this phone to anyone thinking of getting a phone who is willing to spend a bit more money for quality. Don't be put off by the few problems mentioned above, they don't cause any real issues, just can be a bit annoying occasionally, it's not very often that they actually happen anyway.

I would give this phone 8/10 - i knocked two off for the kinks i have already mentioned.
