Advantages: Good quality, easy to use
Disadvantages: Poor variety of features
I have a feeling this phone is not for everyone. On the one hand it's simply designed and incredibly user friendly, but on the other the features it offers compared with other phones are something limited.
The design of the phone is very nice, mine is a lovely deep purple, a colour I have not often seen on other mobiles. The menu is accessed and navigated using the circular dial and button in the centre of the phone. This can be a little troublesome, as you can inadvertantly knock it and open the menu by mistake.
The applications are useful, there's a memo pad which is invaluable for those 'ARGH Pen and paper!' moments, a radio which has excellent reception and a few other nifty features like a dual clock and calculator. However, where it is a little dissapointing is in the general 'phoney' elements.
For example, the ringtones are extremely limited and not all that good, there is a choice of five message alerts, none of which are particularly exciting, and the game selection is at best highly confusing.
I've never been able to get the mP3 player feature to work, or to connect the phone to my own personal computer, despite following instructions in the book to the letter, and after time the ports used to plug the charger in do become a little use, but nothing a good jimmying can't fix.
That said, if you're looking for a functional and stylish phone just for making those emergencies calls, then this is for you, but if you'rea trendy concious app hound maybe think again.
Summary: Excellent phone for day to day use
