Quite a good phone, but not if you want it to take pictures.

Advantages: good for general use
Disadvantages: photo taking quite poor, tends to break occasionally
I purchased this phone on the O2 network back in 2009, as I believed at the time that it was the best option in my price range. Its main attraction for me was the 5mega pixel camera and the ability to play mp3s. Also you can use an mp3 as a ringtone, and designate different ones for different callers, which can be quite fun (the theme from psycho when the mother in law calls), but it is a novelty that does wear off after a while. Unfortunately, you cannot use an mp3 for your message tone, as with other phones and have to settle for the bog standard ones provided on the phone.
I soon realised after using the phone to take pictures that although it does have a 5 mega pixel camera, the quality of the pictures are quite poor. If the photo is not taken in the correct lighting it can appear very dark, but when the flash is used it is too bright, to the point that people in it tend to look like a ghost. The other problem I find with the camera feature is the amount of time it takes to actually take the picture. Many a time I have attempted to take a picture, and then gone to look at what I have taken to have it flash in my face and have a blurred version of myself looking back at me. It does take a rather long time to take a picture, so not very advisable if you are trying to take a picture of something that is about to move etc. such as an energetic 3 year old, as in my case.
Although the phone does have the capacity to hold a fairly large number of pictures, I would recommend purchasing a memory card to use with it, if you take a lot of pictures or wish to use the phone to also hold mp3s.
In fact if you are to use the phone to store music at all I would also suggest that you purchase a memory card, as I have found that my phone can only hold around 5 itself, which also uses up a large amount of memory in general.
In general I have found the phone to be quite easy to use and good for what I use it for, basically just texting, calling and taking the odd picture. But I have had to return it to the shop on 3 separate occasions to be repaired/replaced. This was due to it turning itself off, and also due to some of the buttons stopping working randomly. Luckily the phone that I have now seems to be working a treat, for now anyway!
In general, If you are looking for a phone that does the basics and looks quite nice then this one is ok for you. But if you are wanting one for the media aspects, like photo taking and to listen to music on, you're probably best off giving it a miss.
Summary: quite a good phone, not very reliable as tends to break. Takes too long to take pictures.
